Please be aware though, re-posting art work without credit to the artist is NOT anarchist, anti-capitalist, or in any way punk.
I searched Google for "firing all the billionaires into the sun comic", found the image ---> used it to search for a nicer one and lo and behold found a link to their own Twitter. This took about 5 minutes. Slower than a 5 second reblog but still fast - and also much more important.
The creator is First Dog on The Moon and what makes this version^ so much worse to spread around is that the original HAD the author's handle on it but it was cropped out.
Anyway. If anyone would like to follow the artist here's their Twitter.
If you reblogged the uncredited version I recommend taking 5 seconds to edit your post with their link and handle. It helps artists IMMENSELY.
Stay punk.
The term and concept of "rent lowering gunshots" has seeped into my mental vocabulary, and I've welcomed it there. Something I'm up to is gross and weird? Good, keeps the rent low. Keeps judgy people out. Post weird shit on your blog, do weird shit to your hair, be as fucky as your heart ever wants to be. If you're not the one making the profit, make yourself unprofitable. The aposematism of brightly coloured creatures is there to warn predators, not friends.
You have no moral obligation to make yourself palatable for those who would consume you.

@greenscissors I assume you mean the polite person who is lambasting these fine fellows for food waste or whatever?

Btw for the people complaining about "Food Waste" The oranges were donated from the Cafeteria as they were getting mildew and rock hard (Drying out as they were so old) so they couldn't be eaten anyways. They cleaned up the busted Oranges on the ground and some crows ripped apart the Orange stuck on top of the lamppost. So it wasn't wasted and was indeed very harmless. (Source: The original TikTok.)
I'm not sure if this is true or not just tryinf to see if this helps with whatever is going on with this post, to me those oranges don't look rotted but I don't really like going near oranges so
also these lads playing with some oranges isn’t causing food crises, loves
worry not for im know somebeody whom is expert in vanquishinge bad days
when ppl say flash animation pretty much always what i can tell they’re actually thinking of is what is referred to in animation practice as puppet animation, which i agree sucks like 90% of the time (there are a FEW shows that use it very masterfully, like homestar runner and one i’ll show later, though)
guess what? this is flash!

this is also flash!
THIS is puppet animation:
the funniest part is that most puppet animation isn’t even done in flash anymore. people use after effects instead because it has MUCH more sophisticated and useful tools meant specifically for puppet animation.
the technique can be used well, however. my little pony does it so fluidly it looks practically seamless.
homestar runner doesn’t focus nearly as much on fluidity, but instead on constructing strong, expressive key poses and making every frame really count.
puppet animation isn’t even limited to digital mediums. in fact, it’s not new at all.
the adventures of prince achmed is the world’s oldest surviving feature-length animated film - that’s right, predating snow white by over 10 years - and it was done entirely using puppet animation; black paper cutouts atop illuminated backgrounds. and it’s truly fucking breathtaking.
Things I believe needed to be said. It’s not the technique or the tool, it’s what the artist does with it.
